THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PLANNING AND
DELIVERING A PLAY-BASED EARLY EDUCATION PROGRAMME (SPECIFICALLY FOR
OUR 2.5 TO 5 YEAR OLD CLASSES), ALONGSIDE A FULL TIME CO-EDUCATOR AND
AIM STAFF, REPORTING TO THE MANAGER AND BOARD OF MANAGEMENT, AS
APPROPRIATE. WE OPERATE 8.**APPLY ON THE WEBSITE**A.M.-2.**APPLY ON
THE WEBSITE**P.M. MONDAY-FRIDAY DURING TERM TIME.
REMUNERATION:

SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS FOR THE ABOVE POSITION MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Essential - Education & Qualifications:
* QQI Level 7/8 in Childcare/Early Education and a minimum of 3
years? experience as recognised by Department of Children, Equality,
Disability, Integration and Youth.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience working in a community based service.
* Good knowledge of Aistear, S?olta, First 5 and other relevant
policies
* Working knowledge of current childcare regulations and best
practice in the sector.
* Health & safety awareness
* First Aid Response (FAR) Certificate
* Children First ? TUSLA/HSE e-Learning Programme.
* HACCP Training.
Personal Attributes:
* Be passionate for the education and development of all children in
our service through creating an inclusive, holistic environment.
* Ability to work well on their own initiative and with a team to
support a play based learning environment for all children.
* A warm, caring personality that loves making a difference to
children?s and families lives.
* Be enthusiastic, energetic & highly motivated.
* Be aware of Child safeguarding and your role in such.
* Good communication skills ? fluent in both written and spoken
English
* Be friendly and caring.
* Ability to liaise with outside agencies where appropriate.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality.
